The friendship between Nuremberg an Glasgow is growing ever since its beginning in 1954 when an exchange between young people took place for the first time. Today the two cities, who became official twin cities in 1985, a variety of relationships in many different ways.

Our Verein "Freundeskreis Nürnberg - Glasgow e.V" exists since December 2002. Its main aims are to introduce Scottish life and culture to the people in Nuremberg. At the same time we would like to offer our Scottish friends the possibility to learn more about our franconian ways.
